Jack enquired whether (instead of the avalanche of Easter eggs and various other chocolate goodies he usually receives at Easter) he could have a pair of roller blades. From a dental point of view I thought it was a good idea (although I did have momentary flash of visits to A&E at the hospital with sprained ankles).
As the Easter school break is early this year and the Summer term begins the day after Easter Monday, we set off to town to buy him his blades a couple of days ago.
The smile says it all. He took to them like a fish to water. No broken bones or sprained ankles (yet!) - (and I can tell you that typing with fingers crossed is somewhat difficult lol) but he has found muscles that he did not know he had!
